Editorial Policy

Accuracy first

Salary numbers come from government datasets with a cited source and reference year on every page. We never invent wages, and figures derived from estimates are always labeled "Estimated."

Independence

Advertisers, affiliates and employers do not influence the salary data we publish. Sponsored or affiliate content, where present, is clearly disclosed. Data and editorial are kept strictly separate.

No thin, duplicate content

We don't publish keyword-variant pages that restate the same numbers. Alternative spellings (e.g., "x-ray tech") redirect to a single canonical page. Every occupation page must contain occupation-specific content — skills, career paths, negotiation guidance — not AI filler.

Corrections

If you spot an error, contact us with the page URL and the correct source. We review submissions against the underlying dataset and correct promptly, noting the update date on the page.

Transparency about limits

We publish data confidence grades and methodology limitations on every salary page. Where official data is missing for a location, we say so and show the closest available figure rather than guessing.
